Chelsea Kennedy
Religious Studies

Chelsea Kennedy received her BA in Philosophy with a minors in Theology and Wildlife Science from the University of Portland and is a graduate student in the Department of Religious Studies at University of Colorado Boulder. Her research interests focuses historically on the interactions and influence the Islamic philosophical tradition had on the western tradition and contemporarily, on the exclusion of non-western philosophy in North American universities. Chelsea is the recipient of the Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship, which she utilized to study Arabic at Middlebury Language School's Summer Immersion program in 2023. She currently serves as Lead TA for the department through the Center for Teaching and Learning’s Leads Fellowship.
