The Department of Religious Studies is proud to co-sponsor the Center for Media, Religion and Culture's conference, "Media and Religion: The Global View," which was held here at CU-Boulder January 9-12, 2014. Bringing together more than 80 different speakers from 23 countries, this was the fifth in a series of international conferences hosted by the CMRC. Assistant Professor Deborah Whitehead chaired two panels as well as presented her current research on religion and social media on a panel entitled "Third Spaces: Religion and Spirituality in the Digital Age."
