ASSETT hosted its 2nd Annual Teaching with Technology Symposium on April 28th in the UMC Glenn Miller East. The keynote speaker was Jesse Strommel from the University of Wisconsin who spoke on "Rewriting the Syllabus: New Hybrid and Online Pedagogies."

Following the keynote was a Technology Share with Demonstrations by Teaching with Technology Faculty Fellows:

Professor Gayley's presentation drew from her innovative use of Digital Storytelling in RLST 1850: Ritual & Media, a core course that looks at the ongoing importance of ritual in contemporary society and its interactions with broadcast media. You can read about this pedagogy in her article, "Teaching Religion through Digital Storytelling," on the Spotlight Around the College (SPARC) blog.
