Religious Studies
AJ Mullennix is a graduate student in the Religious Studies department. They graduated from UNC Asheville in 2021 with a B.A. in Anthropology and a minor in Religious Studies. Their undergraduate thesis consisted of ethnographic work that centered how a congregation understood and worked to subvert of white supremacy culture as it relates to Christianity. While at CU Boulder, they study the relationship between queer and trans identities, popular culture, and Christianity.
