Religious Studies
Grace Holleman received her BA in religion from Barnard College in 2021. She wrote her undergraduate thesis on the religious value of physical practices, particularly eating and exercising, to members of the Young Women's Christian Association at the turn of the twentieth century. She is broadly interested in religion and the body in American history, and more specifically in theorizations of gender, race, and health among American women.
